Reviews
Le Minipalais
“Romantic dinner in Paris”: I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. The last time I was here we had dinner on the terrace on a hot summer night. The view from the terrace is very pretty, it's a great setting for a romantic dinner. There are plenty of options on the menu and the food is really good. And instead of bread they serve a kind of small soufflé which is absolutely delicious!
It's also a great lunch option on a nice day. If you want to sit outside make sure to reserve in advance, the inside dining room is nice but definitely not as good as the terrace. (Ana Millar, July, 2015)
L´Avenue
“Hotspot for people watching”: L'Avenue is one of the more popular Costes restaurants in Paris, located on the very fancy Avenue Montaigne. A really great lunch option for endless people watching. The clientele is a mix of tourists, Parisian women, and the fashion pack.
The menu is typical Costes and you can't really go wrong. (Ana Millar, July, 2015)
Matignon
“Great food, party atmosphere”: Matignon is a chic party restaurant. There is a restaurant with a covered terrace upstairs and a club downstairs. The DJ that plays in the restaurant has got to be one of the best in Paris! He gets the whole restaurant going, ready for the party downstairs. The food is really good although not very original by Paris standards. The servers in general are quick and friendly. Make sure to reserve ahead, especially at the weekend.
The club is also good, but it's really packed so it's better to get a table.
The crowd is also on the young side (the restaurant is more varied). (Ana Millar, July, 2015)
